Looking For Your Next Job?
Welcome to AB Cranes and Plant Recruitment Ltd. We would like to thank you for clicking on our web site. Here at AB Cranes and Plant Recruitment Ltd we are constantly striving for a professional and highly skilled workforce who are prepared to work anywhere in the U.K. and Ireland and who are current cpcs and cscs certificate holders, with the ability to be the flagship of our company.
We have a large data base of clients who use our operators on different jobs all over the country. Our operators range from mobile crane, crawler crane, tower crane, hiab drivers, mini digger, 360 excavators, dumper drivers, in fact all types of operators to serve the construction industry. The range of jobs that
our operators do vary widely from motorway work i.e. construction to maintenance, barge work, shaft work, bridge work, dock work - the list goes on.
We pride ourselves in our ability to link the right operatives to the most suitable job with the correct wage structure which is the most important
issue to us all. The client is charged an hourly rate and our operators are paid hourly. We are realistic in today’s market with these important rates and
charge a low percentage profit which is reflected in the repeated use of our services by our customers. You as our operators have the lion’s share of the
hourly rate and we are constantly reviewing it. We pay for travel costs and overnight lodge where necessary as we are fully aware how important it is to
have a comfortable place to stay whilst being away from home.
All our operators must wear the correct P.P.E whilst at work. They will be furnished with P.P.E either by the customer on arrival to site or we will
ensure you are fully equipped before commencement of work. We are religious about P.P.E and are constantly striving for a safe place of work. This is done
predominantly through our operatives who are encouraged by us to participate in the tool box talks and near miss programmes that are run by the customer
on whatever project or site they are working on. We encourage our operators to use our safety coach service which is designed to share knowledge and
avoid any accidents occurring and for us all to be safe at work. The operator can call the service to discuss the problem and is furnished with the correct
knowledge. We have had great success and avoided repeated occurrences through our operation with this system and it benefits us all including the customer
who is striving for a safe place of work. There is also a First Aid Fire fighting scheme that we have introduced into our safety programme recently due to an ever increasing number of our operatives working on gas lines, tanks etc. Please see our safety news letter which is produced monthly for
details. This information helps us all at both work and at home.
For newly qualified operators we are starting a coach system for them and will be putting an instructor with the operator to coach them on in the
first day or two of employment with us wherever possible. If you are a keen, dedicated and diligent person with current cpcs and cscs
cards we would like to hear from you.
Looking forward to hearing from you
